The Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia (ACCESS) – Bangladesh Phase 1: (BLPA Component) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Expansion of Benapole Land Port- Construction Parking Yard, Sheds and Modern Chemical Godowns with other ancillary facilities”. 2. The Accelerating Transport and Trade Connectivity in Eastern South Asia (ACCESS) – Bangladesh Phase 1: (BLPA Component) Project under Bangladesh Land Port Authority now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for “Expansion of Benapole Land Port- Construction Parking Yard, Sheds and Modern Chemical Godowns with other ancillary facilities”. The construction period is twenty (20) months. The location of the work is at Jashore district, South-West part of Bangladesh. The margin of preference is not applicable. 3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing”
